Soffront Releases Updated CRM Product

By Doug Caverly

Soffront Software has released the latest version of its CRM software, logically designated Soffront CRM version 8.6.

The company declares that its "latest release adds considerable enhancements including increased marketing and sales capabilities, improved customer support functionalities, enhanced automation, and better integration."

Soffront is a privately held company that, since its founding in 1992, has offered "end-to-end, fully integrated CRM solutions spanning sales, marketing, customer service and employee help desk." Its software is used at all levels of government, and also several Fortune 500 businesses. Soffront has over 500 CRM installations worldwide.

"We continue to be the mid-market CRM leader because we're continually updating and improving our product to better suite the needs of our customers," said Manu Das, the president of Soffront. The latest version of its CRM software, which "dramatically increases capabilities," is evidence of these claims.

Soffront CRM version 8.6 will allow for surveys to be designed, executed, and tracked, and offers "enhanced calendar filtering," as well.

SalesGenius™. Free 30-day Trial.

A module that manages Service Level Agreements is included, as are automatic e-mail processing and response capabilities.

Another advancement is evident in the "improved integration with Microsoft Outlook," offering "greater flexibility and functionality."

The program also offers improved integration with "back office applications and configuration management software such as Perforce and other Microsoft office products."

"We understand the needs of mid-size businesses better than anybody else in the market," proclaims the Soffront site. Soffront CRM version 8.6 could help the company prove that point. A snazzier name wouldn't hurt, though.
